I have always had three passions in life. Creativity, Make Up and Learning. I started my journey in Beauty in 2005 when I gained my NVQ in Beauty Therapy.  For a short time, I was self employed as a Beauty Therapist, mainly focussed on Acrylic Nail Extensions, but I still had a desire to train to become a secondary school teacher, as growing up that was my dream career!

I completed my training as a Design Technology teacher in 2008 and my career has gone from strength to strength, becoming a curriculum leader and gaining ‘Teacher Educator’ status from the Institute for Teachers, but beauty has always been a hobby and makeup- a massive distraction!

In November 2019 I decided I needed a change and to do something for me! So, I embarked on a 12 Week Make Up Artistry course with Katie Hayes Make Up, which was fully accredited with The Guild of Beauty Therapists. This course was amazing and Katie and her team are so talented and supportive, along with the amazing guest artists we occasionally had too!

Since then I have become more creative, understanding the principles of make up application and developing my own signature style. But the one goal I have with my makeup is, to help other women feel good about themselves and confident in their own skin.

Make up shouldn’t be there just to make you look amazing, but to make you feel amazing too!

I love creating beautiful looks for occasions and nights out and will soon be taking booking for brides to be! In the near future I will soon be merging my teaching experience with my makeup skills to deliver accredited makeup courses! So watch this space!

I am very grateful for what I have had the chance to do and how to make women feel. It fills me with gratitude to be entrusted to do other women's makeup, throughout your appointment you will see I am a bit of a perfectionist, always stepping back and checking that everything looks amazing and is blended to perfection!
